These crack me up! I love reading these out loud to Ian as he cooks dinner (yes, he does the cooking in this family)! This story reminds me of something my daughter did a few weeks back. We have a family friend, Tim, who is bald. Our daughter was bald for the first two years of her life, and that was something they had in common (Tim likes to joke that they bonded over their lack of hair). On a recent visit with Tim, I asked him if he was jealous of Cadence's full head of hair. He said, "Yeah! What's your secret, girlfriend??", in which she replied, "I don't have a secret girlfriend!!" Kids really do say the darndest things! I should really start documenting all the funny things she says. - Jadie
I am a first grade (former kindergarten) teacher who has learned that laughter truly is the best medicine. Thankfully, my firsters and kindergartners make me laugh EVERY DAY.
